1:1 Spiritual Direction

During 1:1 sessions, you and Karen will start with a moment of silent prayer and, when you are ready, you speak whatever is placed on your heart. It could be simple or complex. It can be normal everyday circumstances or something stirring deeper inside. Come as you are in that moment and together we can listen to the Spirit and start to understand who are called you to be in relationship with God and together discover how God wants you to use your gifts in service to those around you, and in turn to God.

Generally, we meet once a month for one hour. Yet, 1:1 direction is led by the directee. You contact me when you want meet so we move at your pace as you feel called.

Group Spiritual Direction

We can unlock the wisdom within ourselves when “two or more are gathered” in God’s name. Group Spiritual Direction is a process where 4-6 people come together to learn, to discover and to grow together in relationship with God. Karen provides the space, some guidance and process. The group shares their path, support each other on the journey, and uncover what Spirit has in store for all.

Group direction meets once a month for one hour. To honor people’s time and schedules, group direction is at a set time and place. It is best to make a commitment to the group and inform each other when you aren’t able to attend.

Retreats

Either half or full day retreats, Karen will work with you to design a retreat for your ministry or organization that is meaningful for you and what you want to understand more deeply. It isn’t about achievement, rather retreats are meant to contemplate your organization’s or individual’s purpose and how those are manifested in your work or everyday life.

Speaking and Workshops: Spirituality and the Workplace

Having worked in “Corporate America” for 25+ years, Karen has developed a philosophy that wherever you are placed, God has called you to serve. Through her own experience, the pragmatic wisdom of her Dad, which she has coined Blue Collar LeadershipTM, and an understanding of the demands and stresses of the workplace, Karen helps you understand how to bring your God-given gifts to your everyday job, and hopefully find purpose in the tasks set before you.
